A Quiet Friday

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellows,

I'm really struggling with news for you today. 

I planted some seeds a few days ago. I thought some sunflowers might be cheerful. So I plucked four zebra-stripey seeds out from the big bag of birdseed and planted them in potting mix.

They are all coming up lovely. I reckon I'll be able to transplant them over to the fence tomorrow. Hopefully in a week or two we'll have lovely happy sunflowers. And then a BIRD FEAST.

But it occurred to me today. What if the zebra-stripey seeds are NOT sunflowers after all? 

What if I've just propagated a bunch of WEEDS? 

That would be embarrassing.

And that is my best story for Friday.
