Knickers in a Twist

This seems to sum up my day, most of which I spent feeling upset over a misunderstanding with a dear friend on Facebook.

If I'm honest, the misunderstanding was mostly mine. All he did was make a joke which was, well, a bit awkward and ambiguous. So after multiple readings, I decided he was being scathing and horrid. Luckily I sent him an email to clear things up, rather than "unfriending" him. He was duly abashed (and no doubt somewhat baffled) that he had unintentionally upset me. And now everything is all fluffy again. But how exhausting! I am old enough to retire, for xxxxx sake (see yesterday's Blip); way too old for this sort of thing!
