Dusk on the Ridgeway

I took a walk up Lark Hill towards the Ridgeway this afternoon.  I didn't think it was that late, but the sun seemed to dive towards the horizon quite early (Extra Photo).  However the sky stayed bright for a good while, and was soon alight with bright colours, as the sun's rays caught the drifting clouds.

I also liked the image of a lone stocky tree caught on the horizon in the fading light (Extra Photo).
