Can't see the wood for the trees

This image was made in the woods, I went there looking for some interesting early spring flowers, but felt uninspired. So I started messing around with longer exposures - only up to a second which for me is relatively short.

But by following the strong verticals of the trees and allowing the light to drag I created some interesting patterns. It won't be be to everyone's taste but seeing as I haven't got anything else today I thought this worked.
