The East End

The East End of Southwell Minster, which houses the Choir and Chapter House in the foreground... about a third of the less familiar end of the building.  The Chapter circumference has a separate seat for each of the historical prebends, any many of the grand houses bordering the church have titles such as the Prebend of Woodborough.

Met my daughter and The King here today. He was transfixed when the bells chimed 12 O'Clock, followed by a shortish peel. The swing was favourite in the playground a short walk behind the church.
