The Boy had his emergency dental appointment to fix his tooth this morning. Unfortunately he forgot and went to college as normal without us realising - he claims to have an excellent memory and doesn’t need reminding of things!!

A mad dash to Truro was to no avail and he just got to enjoy my wrath as I returned him to college, late for that as well!!!

Onto work and a distanced meeting with Mike which left us not really any further forward 2 hours later. What a thoroughly frustrating morning

Thankfully the afternoon was much better - another tax return done and dusted to glowing praise from the client. Then the new oven arrived. It’s beautiful but unfortunately arrived too late for electrician to come and do whatever needs to be done.

Now relaxing in front of a roaring fire with the last of the 2019 Rhubarb gin to finish off before I can start on the 2020 vintage. Happy Friday xx
