A Walk in the Park
After all of the eating associated with Thanksgiving, I was in desperate need of a long walk today. With no time limit, and the rest of the afternoon to myself, I headed out with my camera to a local golf course that has been converted into parkland. I saw bluebirds, a mockingbird, several species of sparrow, and two herons. Or perhaps it was one heron that had switched locations. The first time the heron was eating some type of water snake (cringe-worthy in my view), but the second time I could take advantage of this soft fall setting.
Have a wonderful weekend!
