1991 Thursday — Family Camp

I found this old photo — a blast from the past — this was the last and final time our daughter-in- law was at family camp. The next year our photo collage Christmas card has this same pose of the family, but Vicki is not with us. She and our son Shawn separate and never got back together. Eight years later they divorced.

Our family of 4 started attending family camp on Catalina Island in late summer of 1980.

Both of our kids got married in 1988. By the end of that year we were very young grandparents of Ashly Nicole. Then January 30th the next grandbaby, Desiree Victoria, arrived.

So this photo shows us all having our Thursday evening “Picnic on the Beach” which was a camp tradition.
