Our new Supreme Court just showed its colors: it upheld a position that overruled NY’s governor’s order to close churches (in light of another surge in Covid cases) on the basis of preserving RELIGIOUS FREEDOM! Are you kidding me??!! This is a country whose constitution enshrines the separation of church and state and in the face of a catastrophic health crisis, this is the Supreme Court’s standing?? I am sick to my stomach...
