Pounding the pavement

This morning when walking to work there was a sensational amount of runners out and about. Yeah it was a nice morning but there was probably more this one morning than there had been every morning of the last month previously combined.

Inspired by them, a friend who told me to 'get back on it' (referring to training of course!) and a desire to shake out the cobwebs of laziness, I laced up my running shoes this evening and went for a nice 10k. Just under 44 minutes later I was back home opening the cookie jar - good things come to those who run.
