In the mood for Danson

I was awake early and I got an episode of Corrie in before work. Best day ever. If Jane Danson (Leanne Battersby) doesn’t win a raft of awards for her work then I’ll be so outraged that I’ll emigrate. I’m already attempting that but it’ll further fuel me.

It’s Black Friday so much of the day was spent dodging marketing emails advertising big discounts. Online shopping is one of the few permitted activities this month so it’s a dangerous trap. I bought a couple of books that have been recommended to me, so I partook in some mindful consumerism.

I ploughed through a backlog of emails and tried to have a productive day of work. A Memorandum of Understanding we’ve been developing with one of our partner departments in the Mozambican government has finally been signed. This felt like a decent milestone for a Friday.
