Rest

We had planned today to have a family trip to Hadrian's Wall, but it was way too cold to take Arwen up there, so Hubby went on his own. Actually, we have such a busy week planned this half term that it was nice just to chill for much of the day. We did venture out to take Arwen for her four month check this morning (she's doing really well!) , but otherwise stopped in the house, where I ate waaaaaay too much of yesterday's Nigella tray bake.
Late afternoon we had visitors - my nieces Katie and Emma and Katie's children. I hadn't seen them in a while and it was very nice indeed to catch up.
More Nigella chocolate peanut crunchie was scoffed this evening and now I'm sitting like a beached whale on the sofa contemplating a very early night.
