A Winter Walk
It was very cold this morning, 0degC when I got downstairs just after 7 am. As we were lazy yesteday we made ourselves go out for a walk today. We had to squeeze it between a family zoom meeting with us in England, brother-in-law in Scotland and cousins in Australia and two zoom webinars this afternoon. We were finishing our breakfast coffee while the Australians were enjoying their favoured evening tipple. It's great to be able to catch up in this way.
We took the longest route of our usual three and passed this view as we walked along a busy road. A few steps into the field of winter wheat was the best I could do. I really wanted to include our local landmark of Roseberry Topping (the hill that looks a bit like a volcano). I was nowhere near the crops.
