Coming and going on the lake.

A walk to Summerhouse Lake this morning. The lake was used for boating by the Dowager Queen Adelaide in the 1850’s and she lived in the Summerhouse by the lake during her last years. Sadly the Summerhouse was recently destroyed by fire. Summer felt a long way away today as it was cold, damp and grey.
