The view from my window

After a busy morning of rather menial tasks I've been catching up on Susan Calman's Secret Scotland this afternoon and I now have quite a list of places I want to visit or in the case of Mount Stuart on the Isle of Bute a revisit.

For a few weeks in the year I get a glimpse of the sunset from my lounge window but blink and you've missed it as the sun sinks behind the houses,

If someone would just put some festive lights on the conifer that appears to be growing out of the roof it would look fantastastic against the very dark evening sky.
