Golden Boy - Brave Britnoth

I was in Maldon visiting the hospital where I was born. I snapped the golden rays of the setting sun illuminating the copper statue of Britnoth. He was a brave, old, six-foot-nine giant who was defeated and decapitated by the Danes. "The flame of that day's courage still burns in the Anglo Saxon epic, The Battle Of Maldon."
