Lockdown inset day. The pair of us were supposed to be in Naples and Pompeii and then that was changed to Norfolk when it became clear that international travel wasn't going to be sensible. Then the English lockdowns put pay to that

So this morning started with a remote violin lesson, then a scoot out for exercise. Christmas cards were written. Books were read and then we watched An American in Paris which starred two of Carys's current teachers, Leanne Cope and Katie Deacon.

Carys herself worked in the study as normal, had her ballet class and joined us for the film.
