Bonfire

Whilst probablhy not the most environmentally friendly solution to getting rid of garden waste, it is certainly the most satisfying. One minute you have a huge pile of brambles, leaves, grass and trees and the next day it has all gone......
I don't brave it often here as I am terrified of setting fire to the valley and myslef when using petrol to sddtart it. Rain yesterday and drizzle today and with a Permis de Feu from the Mayor, today was the day. 
Very important to have a chair on which to sit and survey the fire and a hose nearby in case of disaster. Only needed the first of these items today.
