Starling Murmuration

I made a quick trip to Wigan Local Nature Reserve even though it was very cold and murky, and was pleased that it hadn’t put the Starlings off doing their show!
They always gather at the Pylon (you can tell they’re there as the lines look thicker!), then display over this body of water called Pearson’s Flash.
The Swans in the foreground were happy to carry on dipping for food!
