Misty views
After a lazy morning, largely spent drinking coffee and eating homemade cinnamon buns, we went out for an afternoon walk. We headed out to look at the remains of a motte and bailey castle nearby. The motte and bailey didn't photograph very well, but as it was a sunny afternoon the views were lovely. There was a low mist hanging in the valley below, which gave it a mysterious quality. The sun was setting as we walked home and the colours were just beautiful.
