Heading Home
Driving along the backroads, on our way bank from Melrose, suddenly the sun appeared and the sky turned all shades from purple to orange. It only lasted five minutes and then it sank into the trees tops and darkness fell before we reached home.
This morning's Winter Songs Workshop was more of a ceilidh, we listened rather than learned, and I think mostly we chatted. Which was what we needed, I think - a bit of socially distanced social interaction.
The trip out wasn't so successful - I scored two rolls of Christmas wrapping paper .... but it's very nice wrapping paper.
Poor daughter Ali has developed a nasty-looking swelling on her nose - it's very red and painful, and embarrassing ,and, unfortunately, a bit comical. I don't think she was particularly consoled when I said at least no one can see it when she's wearing a mask...
And that's another week over. How they fly.
