The Star

Mum is still going through boxes and bags with things she saved from our beloved summer house. She was immensely happy when she found the old straw Advent star that used to hang in the window during Advent in her childhood home. To help the shepherds find their way, I assume. 

But the electric plug and cord were super old, so she had to find new ones. And come up with a solution to hang it up and plug it in. But she did all that, and now we have a beautiful star lighting up our lives! 

It was, on the whole, a fab day! A tiny layer of snow outside for my walks. The Winter studio started for the season, and we spent most of the day watching our favourite sport cross-country skiing with our best friend Heidi in England. Yay! We have waited and waited for it to start! Go Sweden! Go USA! Go UK! 

And in the evening, we watched one episode of The Crown. Yay! Pretty much a perfect day!
