Half Term Daddy Day

Today was a full Daddy day as I was morning holidaying with Girl followed by the usual Daddy Day shenanigans after Boy collection.

Girl and I were far too busy doing nothing for too long meaning we went out on her requested bike ride a little later than planned. Still there was still time for cake. However there was not time enough to queue for cake meaning we had to forgo the warm cafe for the colder coffee van at out half way point. Even though we sheltered from the wind as much as possible Girl ended up getting cold meaning that the ride home was never going to be as successful as they way out, meaning I was left doing the regular Daddy duty that you often see down the seafront of carrying the the unhappy childs bike home.

And so it was that we collected Boy at the days mid-point in a warm car and then drove out to Aspex gallery for cake and a play amongst the installations. It was lots of fun. On the way home we collect Wife and headed to the park to meet friends for cuddles and run arounds and the odd scrap.
