Brunstane Farm

On a beautiful blue sky late autumn day we enjoyed walking from the house up to Newhailes. There are two routes. One following Brunstane Burn, which is also part of The John Muir Way and the other is on the higher ground of farmland in front of the Brunstane Farm House. In this panoramic view you can see the farmland stretching down to the east coast mainline to North Berwick and Newcastle. In two years there will be 1300 homes, shops, doctors surgery and a primary school here.
Later I met some of our fellow residents to distribute leaflets highlighting ongoing traffic issues on the streets of Portobello.
