Horse and trap, Stirling 1918 or 1919
How modes of travel have changed since this photograph was taken over a century ago!
The children in the picture are Lorna (aged 4 or 5) her brother Theo (aged 6 or 7). It's likely that the man is their father, but the identity of the woman is unknown. In a similar picture from the same date that we blipped on 10th June we suggested that the lady might have been a visitor or the children's governess.
We guess that Lorna's mother, who is not in this shot but features in the other one, was the photographer.
