Thanksgiving

I took the grandkids on a Scavenger Hunt around the neighborhood while David cooked our Thanksgiving dinner. It consisted of an array of delicious Indian dishes - Lamb Vindaloo, Chicken Tikka Masala, Indian Green Beans and home made Naan Bread made using my Kefir.
This has been an altogether unusual Thanksgiving as we only had Jamie, Rachelle and the grandkids joining us and not a turkey in sight! Our nod to a traditional Thanksgiving dinner was provided by Rachelle’s amazing Cherry Pie served with ice cream.
The scavenger hunt consisted of a series of objects seen on my regular walks around the neighborhood, which they had to find. This photo was one of the things they had to find. There were thirty altogether! But it got them outside in the lovely sunny day and they worked up a good appetite!
