First Sunday of Advent

I am usually of the tradition that the tree should go up on Dec 24th and come down on 12th night. But what the hell, everyone else is doing it early and we’re going to be home the whole time so we’re going with it for the whole of advent and beyond. I suspect it might be reduced to a twig come 12th night but we’ve put it in the conservatory this year to keep it a bit cooler and make it easier to sweep up the dropped needles!
