Buzzard

We had some jobs to do at the lodge today and when we were finished we travelled a little further along the A66 on the way home, to take some shots of Blencathra. Just as we turned off onto the old road a buzzard flew in front of us and landed in a tree. We parked up and I opened my window as I had my camera with the telephoto lens on my knee. I kept taking shots but the tree was dense and the branches were distracting.

I waited until it took flight and got the shot.
