Another misty dreary day and we chose to go on the Cromford Canal again but this time on a quieter stretch at Ambergate just before the canal ends. The towpaths are easy walking, not as muddy as the fields and flat ! I used to take water vole photos on this stretch but unfortunately they haven't been sighted here for a couple of years now.
