Stratford
Following this morning's family quiz the plan was to do another village, this one in Oxfordshire, Shutford. Unfortunately the further we drove from Stratford the foggier it became until, having reached Upton House, we decided to abandon that idea and went back to Stratford. There we parked up in Old Town and took a walk into town via the river. It was surprisingly busy, presumably people are getting out for a walk before we are forced into Tier 3 restrictions.
I think this picture is quite poignant. With the end of lockdown in sight the Fourteas (1940s) Tearooms were planning their reopening with a big sign, appropriately based on the song "We'll Meet Again". Following news that we are unjustifiably being put in the highest restrictive tier the sign has to come down as the cafe will not be opening yet!
