Nora...

... enjoying the sugar from the Christmas cake (Dresdner Stollen) Nico (my youngest) came yesterday afternoon and we managed a few backgammon games between being with my parents :) He left again today for Dresden after lunch... Cathleen (my oldest) and Nora joined as for lunch and they stayed till after tea so that Nora could fall asleep in the car (already in her nightwear) The main reason for them to come this weekend was their grandpa.... dad is getting worse and worse and his mind often is in the past and not with us anymore... so they wanted to see him, chat with him, be with him whilst he still could regonise his grand- and great-grandchildren... sadly, it is not often that we can feel his humour now :( Nursing my parents is getting really tough but still is a close, intense and very loving time... feeling them and let them feel family...
