Cathy doesn't normally bake mince pies until December - but somehow this afternoon baking took place.

I am the world's biggest fan of Cathy's pastry - and her mince pies make December one long festive treat as far as I am concerned. 

So forget schlepping outside in the mizzle to take dull grey pictures.  Its time to get out the flash and celebrate everything that is good about this darkest time of year.  Yes, its cold and its wet and its grey but inside there is good company, music and delicious food and drink.
