More wood

Johnny and Claire join our merry band of lumberjacks today. Nick is on the tractor and I’m stacking at the woodshed.

As darkness approaches, all the wood is split and most of it has been ferried up to the house. We’ve filled one bay of the shed, but there’s still a pile of logs waiting to be stacked and another pile that need to be ferried up the hill.

It’ll be great fire wood for the winter of 22/23
