The Christmas tree in the square

No Savation Army band, mulled wine or mince pies this year for the village tree lighting.

It's a beautiful tree, though, and I think the lights are new. Looking good, and I'm sure its early appearance will gladden many hearts. It certainly cheered me up to see it.
