Sunday: Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

Today felt quite busy with a number of things but in a good way.  Some supermarket shopping following which I cooked up a batch of homemade tomato soup.  Hair cuts and then I set to sweeping up the leaves outside.  We’re supposed to have a gardener who comes twice a year, including at this time of year, but she never turns up and we’re now the shame of the neighbourhood.  I think we’re going to try and get someone else.

Anyway, I was saved from that job by Janice who was in the neighbourhood and swung by for a spontaneous visit.

I took a neighbourhood stroll in the evening - many more Christmas decorations up.  We’d better set to!
