It started off rather dreich but has turned into a lovely sunny day.


The HG doesn't do much of the preparations for Christmas, although he thoroughly enjoys it.  However, it has become a bit of a tradition in our wee family that he gives us all a Poinsettia plant in the run up to the main event.  He always picks very carefully, and money is no object (?) and we all  really appreciate it.

At Christmas I usually have mine in the living room beside the fireplace, but in the weeks before I keep it in the dining area where it is a bit cooler, so that it lasts the pace.
