It’s like a black hole in my office area now - but they match the front door from outside so worth it!

Today was spent decluttering, hoovering and cleaning. Oh and slaying the most enormous laundry mountain!! By the end of the day, Eldest’s room was ready for her return, the landing was cleared, the bookshelf full but not overflowing and a pile of outgrown children’s books on their way to new homes.

Unfortunately, amidst all this industry, we had to take Nugget the rat to the vet for a sad diagnosis. She had a lump on her cheek that the vet feared was a tumour. Any operation would need to followed up with twice daily bathing which Nugget would hate as she dislikes being handled. Always a difficult decision but the right one :-(
