Via Engiadina - day 1

After having had a great night playing cards with M&R yesterday, we got up rather late. 

Rachel and I walked a part of the Via Engiadina, it was beautiful! 

Later R&M recited Christmas poems to Djeili, who seemed very entranced ;) 

We also watched an Attenborough program on ants — amazing creatures! 

In the night it was very cold, the nearly full moon out, lots of stars in a very clear sky. Magical.
