advent...

...season

is a time for hope - much needed especially right now - for those not familiar

advent represents a season - of remembrance and preparing - for the celebration of the birthday - of jesus, that time when - a tiny baby came into the world - to fulfill abba’s earliest promises - and answer generations of heartache - he was born to bring light into a world - in darkness (sound familiar?) - to seek and save the lost - to heal our wounds with his (don’t we need that now?) - and especially, to make all things new

it’s a season when - as a christ follower - i should take more time - to reflect and consider - that birth and understand it - is worth sharing with others - such a miracle of an arrival - of one who came to bless the nations - and fulfill the law - to bring such a magnitude of hope and love

after such a dismal year - i realize we all need hope - we’re looking towards - potential vaccines to help - with a virus which has - decimated our populations - but i would also suggest - looking at a tiny baby - born into the world - more than two thousand years ago - to give us hope - to heal - and to bring peace to mankind - as i look forward - to what this advent season will bring - i hope you will join me - knowing for certain it will lead to...
