Walking Rainbow

Feeling very multicoloured today - yellow scrubs top, green bottoms, purple crocs, red lanyard, blue hat and mask!

Special moment of the day was when the last patient in theatre (who has just had her 80th birthday, but hasn’t been able to celebrate with her family), reached out for my hand, and held onto it for most of her operation. A nurse commented, “It’s moments like that that make it all worth it.” Thankful to be a student in a vocation where touch is still allowed.
