Not Neeps
Two food based blips in a row!
After yesterday’s blip, I discovered that if the cake is chilled then cut, the definition between the layers is much greater and looks more professional without the sponge crumbling. Note to self for future.
Today is a mix of birthdays ( I know 4 people celebrating today) and St Andrew’s Day. So it had to be haggis but instead of the more traditional neeps ( for those firth of Scotland; turnip) we had a mash of carrot and parsnip, something we’ve had for many years. All very tasty and washed down with whisky and water.
