We're learning
In today’s lunchtime webinar there were some interesting new poll results about support for action on climate change.
During the bush fires earlier this year, polls showed increasing demand for Government to take more decisive action on climate change. We could see the effects of increasing climate change unfolding before us.
It was widely expected that those figures would go down as the memory of the fires faded, and as we were distracted by Covid.
But according to new polls this has not happened. On the contrary, support for a range of more radical climate policy initiatives has increased.
