A New Day

Yesterday I heard that a good friend and fellow brass-bandsman had passed away. Just a few weeks ago he was to commence cancer treatment but other complications arose which he didn't recover from.

Sadly, given the current restrictions, a hospital visit wasn't possible and so the last time I saw him was via Zoom for a band committee meeting - he was in his hospital bed!

Time to reflect.
