'The Black House'

is on the road out to several of the Lakes and is a commonly used reference point when meeting or accessing many of the mountain biking and walking tracks close by. It is somewhat neglected on the outside but there's something about it that I find appealing. It's open speed limit here and I often wonder what it must be like sleeping so close to the road with traffic thundering by.
