That Bridge again!

Lacking in the enthusiasm and/or motivation to find a good blip subject just recently so a walk around Compton Verney this afternoon has resulted in a very similar blip to one last week.

We did talk to one of the staff busy putting out the last few lighting supports for an extended opening over the next few weekends.  There are lights along many of the paths,  suspended stars (see extra) and lots of uplighting into the trees, which should look very good after dark. The grounds are open until 19:00 on Saturday 5th & 12th December.

We will be in Tier 3 so they can't open the indoor cafe, but there is an outdoor take-away coffee/tea/cake trailer set up which is not bad at all.
Plenty of space too so keeping a reasonable distance shouldn't be too difficult.

If you do want to visit,  approach from the Fosse Way and ignore the road closed signs,  it is open for access to their entrance.  Have a look at the map for this blip and it should make sense. 
The B4086 Compton Hill is the road to use.
