Bark

The usual mad rush to clean and tidy for the arrival of the Music Group gang (despite all best intentions to get things at least started last night, I ended up working late and didn't feel like facing into dusting and vacuum cleaning and tidying and ...). Even then, I had to arrange things so that I was near the TV to watch qualifying for the Malaysian Grand Prix. It's sad that race results are increasingly decided by what happens during stewards' enquiries rather than on the track, and the pre-action coverage was inevitably full of the latest McLaren/Hamilton scandal. Once again, Ferrari got things terribly wrong, so that Massa was knocked out after the first qualifying session (whether because of sheer cockiness or just careless miscalculation, who can say). Still, it can only be for the good of Formula 1 to have what not so long ago would be considered also-rans doing so well and finishing well up the grid for tomorrow's race.

The music session went well, we had a good chat in the local pub afterwards, and then I headed out to St Anne's Park to catch the last rays of the sun and point the camera at trees and things.
