Mud hut

I’m not too sure about the story behind this building which stands on the right hand side of the village green in front of the village hall. It is quite an old building.
It is made from mud apparently and has had a new roof in the last few years which was possibly paid for by the parish council.
I wonder what’s inside it, if anything?
