Nearly blue sky

The day dawned with a beautiful blue sky and it was fine all day, apart from these high clouds, a mackerel sky  I think it is called. It is amazing what a difference it makes to have a fine day, and I have been positive and busy all day. I did some tidying in the garden in the company of the faithful robin, I did a bit of housework, I cooked a good lunch with the chicken leftovers, and I wrote some more Christmas cards. After days of lethargy, it was so good to feel like being busy!
