First layer of snow

The temperatures have been cold for the last week so the ground is frozen ready for the first snow on the ski slopes. It arrived today with more promised later in the week. This is to road heading up to our house. The hill is steeper than it looks so we will be turning the car round in the drive rather than attempting to up the road.
