Come on down if you think you're brave enough!!!!

When I took this photograph earlier, I thought of the football hooligans chanting it, as a response to the signs on the beach advising that it may be contaminated. The environmental wardens were dong their stuff, but some people were still taking children onto the sand. All I could think of was the children I'd looked after who were s...ting blood , and vomiting whilst having dialysis.

Just as I was about to blip my brother phoned me to ask me if mum was in porty, as she hadn't turned up for lunch with my aunt. No one knew where she was. Phoned admissions units in hospitals to have the news broken that she had collapsed and died in street yesterday. Apparently the police were meant to let us know, but didn't know who to contact!!! She always carries phone numbers etc in her handbag. I wonder who has that? Her neighbours new I lived in porty, and my brother lived in same town as her, but they couldn't find us.

Tomorrow we have to contact the PF to identify and find out what to do next.

Now I think the seagull looks kinda lonely, but is standing tall amongst all the stuff happening around him.
